Wednesdays Are Busy

Wednesday is a busy day at the Reynolds' home. Several homeschool students gather here for music lessons and some of the family members and friends gather for fellowship around the kitchen table. There is much activity and noise as students practice and receive instruction from Mrs. Christy. Michaela, Hannah, Billy and Sara are all learning at least 2 instruments each. You can only imagine the sounds that can be heard at even given time of day.

After a busy homeschool community day, it's time to have dinner at church. Guess who prepares most of the food? Christy! I had the opportunity to help with chopping onions and garlic and helping with kitchen clean-up. I was excited and happy to be able to help in any way possible.

On to Wednesday night service...Tommy shared with their church the initial principles of child-rearing...teaching morality to our children. The people
seemed to be eager to learn all that they could and responded so well. The church is filled with young families and many children. What an opportunity to impact a community for Christ, with morally responsible young people who love and serve the Lord.

  1. The Reynolds are such an inspiration to us. We remember them traveling to raise support in an extended cab pick-up....and that's where she did most of her homeschooling! Their family life, their passion for souls, and way of doing things is so encouraging! Glad y'all are able to help them!
