Mrs. Jenny, Allison and I started out fairly early to review some possibilities that Jessica and I had seen last week. Jenny agreed that we had indeed found some possibilities, but wanted to make sure we had covered all the bases.
We picked up Jessica at their house and started for Lancaster to some different stores. Of course, we had to stop for lunch first. We decided that Olive Garden was a good choice! When we went to pick up Jessica, they live close to the neatest covered bridge and I had to get a picture.
On with our trip...we ate lunch and began our search for just the right furniture for the foyer of the church. Of all things, we ended up at Ollie's and got a really nice leather sofa for a really good price. We went down the way to a nice furniture store to look for accent pieces. Well, the Lord answered our prayers from earlier in the day and provided a nice piece of furniture to serve as the Welcome Center in the foyer. It was marked down and then another 40% off. Allison had prayed a simple prayer, asking for God to provide the furniture we needed that He wanted us to have. We give Him thanks and praise.
Part of the entertainment for the day is when Tommy and Brother Allen came to Ollie's to pick up the sofa and watching Mrs. Jenny supervise the loading. I couldn't get the camera out fast enough to capture the whole event, but we did capture some of it...
