SAFE ARRIVAL IN RHODE ISLAND

We left Quebec City at about 8:30 this morning. It was a very difficult goodbye for me (Sue). I always love visiting with Dawn and her sweet family and the time went by so quickly. We are not just mother and daughter, but we are very good friends and enjoy our time together. I am so thankful for the young woman she has become.

God has blessed us with two great children, and we love and appreciate their mates as well. Along with that great blessing, of course, we adore our grandchildren. Although we all live apart from one another, our fellowship is so sweet when we are able to get together. I thank God that He has chosen to call our children to work in His vineyard, and that they have chosen to obey. Even though the separations are not easy, we are thrilled to see God working in their lives.

When the tears would not stop this morning as we left them, the Lord reminded me of these blessings, dried my tears, rested my body and re-set my focus on our next mission. We love the people of Rhode Island, specifically Beacon Free Will Baptist Church and the precious missionaries He has sent here. We are thankful that we can have a small part in the work that is being done to reach this community for Christ.

We arrived in Rhode Island about 5:00 this evening, unpacked the car, settled in to the motor home and waited for everyone to get home. When everyone got home, we gathered around the table and enjoyed some of the best pizza in the world.

Now it's time to get a good night's rest, so we can spend some quality time with Sarah and Billy, while everyone else works at the church tomorrow. By the way, please pray for Tammy and Terry Miller as they search for a place to live as they return to North Kingstown to help in the church here.
