Tommy's birthday dawned again in Rhode Island. It finally came! I cannot remember any adult who looked forward to their birthday as much as Tommy did this year. He turned 62 today. Can you guess why this birthday was so anticipated? If you said Social Security, you are right. There are a number of reasons to anticipate growing old. Starting to receive a return on your investment is one of them.

Even though it was a chilly New England Sunday, we had a good time with our new friends, and we finished the evening with Tommy's favorite devil's food cake and white fluffy frosting...YUM.
