HOMEWORK

Today the inevitable happened. When a motorhome sits in one spot for a very long time, it gets really dirty and grimy. So today was the day to conquer the grime. While Tommy worked outside, I decided to stay close to home and work inside, especially since he was working on a slippery roof which always makes me nervous. Wow, what a difference a pressure washing can make. Now to apply a little wax and we'll be ready to roll!

Hannah and Anna wanted to bake something, so...since I was planning on making "Mousse Mess" for dessert, I asked them to make the brownies. They were willing to help out and this is what "Mousse Mess" looks like for those of you who have never experienced it...

"Mousse Mess" is a Sandi Lane creation consisting of cool whip, chocolate mousse and brownies. You can't imagine how good it is. Anyway, these sweet girls had fun helping put it together and cleaning up (as in licking bowls and beaters). After the dessert was finished, Bill called to let us know the church foyer and office furniture was being delivered.

First the office furniture...

Christy is testing his sofa. Not only is it pretty, but it is also perfect for napping!
Two bookcases and a credenza and chair (in the foreground) finish out the room. Now it's time to hang some wall decor. Pictures will follow.

Down the hall, the foyer is being transformed:

And outside, the mailbox is being installed

Things are really looking good and the end of this project is in sight. Tomorrow the final landscaping should take place with seeding on Tuesday and striping the parking lot on Monday.
