Believe it or not, the furniture and accessories shopping for the church decor is still not finished. It's been fun, but we'd really like to be finished today so we can move on.

So the first thing we did..we met at "Home Goods" since it was a central location for us to meet. We checked out a really cool local furniture store and then we stopped by the school where Mrs. Jenny will be working and Allison will be attending next year. Then we went to a yard sale that we heard about that might actually have some things we needed. When we arrived there, there was also a used furniture/antique store and we found some tables there that might work out. We'll see! After shopping around we met up with a local pastor's wife and had lunch. What sweet fellowship with a like-minded believer. (The food was good too.)

We left there to finish out the day and meet Tommy so we could return home. He had been helping Brother Tim and Brother Allen clean out a storage room at the church to get it ready to be converted into another much-needed bathroom.

We decided to check out a TJMaxx and Ross that were off the beaten path for Mrs. Jenny, and they were on the way home for us. Long story short, we found some chairs at Ross! YAY! Problem: Mrs. Jenny didn't drive her van today, so we had to figure out how to get them home in her car. Thankfully, Tommy was there to help. Mission accomplished!

Since Mrs. Jenny's car was full of chairs, Allison rode back to the church with us and the chairs were unloaded and put in place....

Allison was so patient with us as we went from store to store. However, I think she was finally over it!

Now...Diet Coke and comfy chair..he's happy!

We aren't sure about the chairs. But we'll look at them for a few days and decide. Check back to see the finished project.
