We got the name of a local guy who does all kinds of repairs and he came. The amazing part is, he fixed the problem in short order and said, "that will be $25"! What a blessing. We were expecting to pay alot more. We thank the Lord.
We left for the church and our first full day of service. As usual our GPS took us a different "fastest" way. How can there be more than one "fastest" way? We have seen more of the York PA area than most natives see in their lifetime. The problem is, since we never go the same way twice, I will never learn my way around. That's sad, 'cause I won't feel comfortable going shopping on my own. That's one of my favorite things to do in a new place. Oh well! I still have most of the month to learn and feel comfortable.
Brother Allen had a funeral to go to today (mom of a church member) so we began our work day without him. I started painting the foyer and Tommy began working on a lamp post in the front yard. He also took some pictures of the church for those who haven't had the privilege of visiting here.

I know Ken Lane will love this picture. He says I use a 2" brush for all my painting. That's not true, this one is 1 1/2". Hey, I used the tools I could find. |

It took about an hour to get home and we were tired and hungry so we ate at the campground snack bar. Not very healthy, but it satisfied the hunger.
After a power nap, I am catching up on some reading and beating Dawn in on-line Scrabble.
Continue to pray for us as we labor alongside Brother Allen Hall.
