NOISY NEIGHBOR

Well, I was awakened this morning by a cardinal flying repeatedly into our bedroom window. Silly bird! How many times do you have to hit your head on a glass wall before you realize you can't penetrate it? I think she finally gave up after she woke up both of us.

Looking forward to another day at Good News Free Will Baptist Church. I'll let you know what we accomplish later, but right now it's time for breakfast with my hubby.

Tommy making his coffee.

Tommy had a productive day cutting grass around the church. Brother Allen and Brother Tim Hodges helped  with trim work. Jessica Hodges and I went shopping to get ideas for the decorating that Brother Allen has asked us to help with. We had fun exploring but decided no decisions could be made about decorating until we visit "Hobby Lobby". The closest one is about an hour away but we'll sacrifice and go there for the cause. There is also a "Pottery Barn" outlet within an hour. Sorry guys. Someone has to suffer to get the job done. I'll probably post pictures tomorrow of what the area looks like now and then pictures when we are finished.

After our "sacrificial " day of shopping, we went to a local pizzeria for supper...
Notice--Brother Allen is eating salad!

Sweet fellowship with friends
After eating pizza, we went to Brother Allen's house and had dessert to celebrate his recent birthday.  Strawberry pie, birthday cake and banana pudding are a good ending to any day. YUM!

Brother Allen had mentioned on Sunday that there were some things that needed to be done around the church that had stalled because people had not returned his calls or other scheduling problems. Well the door guy called, and the window treatment guy came and started installing new blinds, so we give praise to the Lord for answers to prayers. We are working on several other projects. Hopefully we will be able to shorten his "to do" list considerably while we are here.

Upon arriving back at the RV, we found a rabbit by our front door and couldn't resist some pictures. Whether you like rabbit stew or just think they are cute to look at, here you go...
