Since Jonathan has chosen to not make his debut yet, life goes on as usual. Today we cleaned a little,
lazed a little,
studied a little.
While Dawn and Danny were out for Dawn's doctor appointment, they discovered that our favorite ice cream shop (which we normally have to drive across town for) has opened a new shop literally right around the corner from their house. Of course, we had to check it out to make sure it was of the same quality.

They dip the vanilla ice cream cone in chocolate and leave it for a few seconds. The result is chocolate that resembles a Hershey Bar wrapped around the creamy ice cream....beyond description! |

Don't let Joshua's face fool you into thinking he was enjoying his ice cream more than Danny. Check out the size of Danny's ice cream cone. Joshua's was the BeBe size and Danny's was a medium. Yes, they do come bigger than his, but I'm not sure how you can eat one that big. |

The Elliott men enjoying a delicious frozen treat. |

Summer and Autumn don't wait to find a table. They just dig in. |
 |
Is Autumn kissing her ice cream? |
 |
Summer started out being so prissy, but once she tasted it, she just dug right in. |
THE ICE CREAM WAS JUST AS DELICIOUS AS WE REMEMBERED!
After the ice cream we walked down to the riverfront (St. Lawrence River) and enjoyed the beauty of their community, Cap Rouge. There is also a historic railroad trestle that goes through Cap Rouge. This was the first time we actually saw a train on the trestle. We didn't realize it was still an active trestle since it looked so old.

Their apartment building is the one in the distance, on the right. |
The kids decided to take advantage of the hill by the river and down they rolled, over and over....
