A few days ago we decided to refinish the dining room furniture rather than painting. Well, after trying to clean and refinish, it has become apparent that painting is our best option. I began painting 2 days ago and at this point, all six chairs have received their first coat of paint. The second coat should be a little easier.
I also secured chair cushions at a thrift store yesterday and pillows for the extra two chairs. We both really like the look of the painted chairs, so the change in plan is fine. I can't wait to see the finished project. Here is what they look like at this point....
