Today was Gary Wilson's last day here to work on carpet and tile, so Gary and Tommy got an early start. Carpet on the stage had to be completed and tile grout finished as well. At the end of the day, Gary was practically running to get to the airport on time. He left a few small spots for Tommy to complete, but practically speaking, carpet is finished and tile grout is nearing completion! Praise the Lord!!
Thank the Lord for some hard working young people to help the more experienced guys. Hannah and Michaela Reynolds have been so faithful to learn new things and then work hard to help bring this project to completion. They are awesome young ladies. Brannon Miller, son of Terry and Tammy, along with Matt Gedeon have worked diligently as well. Other folks have come to help as their own schedules have allowed.
Christy and I took Billy and Sarah when we delivered lunch today. There is still much to do but we are close to the end. The electrician, plumber, excavator are the key people to still work and complete their part, and much of their work can be done simultaneously.
I get to do the fun stuff....setting up and decorating the nursery, decorating the foyer and bathrooms and setting up the kitchen and social hall. That fun should start this coming Tuesday, so look for pictures as I try to journal everything in stages from start to finish.
Keep praying for all that is going on here. We are praying for safety, timely conclusion and especially for opening services. Many have promised to come and we are praying for a great harvest of souls.
