Sunday at Gateway

Thank you Lord for a wonderful day at church. Brother Tim McCreight is our Sunday School teacher and we appreciate him and Stephanie so much. The spirit in our class is so sweet and I love getting to know the people that have joined our class while we were in Rhode Island. God is at work in so many lives and it is thrilling to watch.

The morning worship service spoke to my heart as we sang songs and listened as others sang. The choir song "Revive Us Again" is my prayer, and the ladies' trio sang "He is Here". His presence was evident. Our pastor preached from Malachi 3 and reminded us that tithing is in God's Word and other reasons why tithing is essential. Our personal experience has certainly proved God's faithfulness. He has opened the windows  of heaven and showed Himself faithful so many times. I appreciate Pastor Patrick for being willing to remind us of the importance of trusting God for all we need.

The evening service focused on the Lord's Supper and the challenge for self-examination. Then we practiced the washing of the saint's feet which is always a sweet time of sharing prayer and praise, and fellowshipping. "Search me O God and know my heart..." Psalm 139:23
