More Guest Room Preparations

Now we are trying to get the guest room ready for our first visitors since we moved in.

We purchased an oak bed on "CraigsList' (for $20), another blessing from the Lord. However, the side rails and slats were old and rusty. So today was the day to sand them and paint them in preparation for the new mattress that will be delivered in a few days.

I think that sanding is probably my least favorite part of painting. However, it is a very necessary step, so sand I did. I forgot to take pictures before I painted them, but here is the finished product...
